General Changes/Additions:

  • Updated The Last Pensive Fable flow, improving cinematic order and quest steps for clearer progression.
  • Added additional guidance after the final Nimrod defeat in the Brewer of Hues Fable.
  • Disabled healing while carrying Tuvalkane’s helmet during The Steelsinger Fable.
  • Updated Tuvalkane’s crafting UI to display “#/” Fragments Collected” instead of “Insufficient Fragments.”
  • Added additional “Ancestor Discovered” text when first discovering an Ancestor.
  • Improved Combat Arts UI to more clearly display unspent Arts.
  • Improved Fragment UI icon backgrounds to fill based on current Fragment count.
  • Reduced damage from Garren Rood’s stomp attack.
  • Changed Juniper to use a unique arrow pool, separate from Blitzel’s.
  • Increased the Stagger damage of the Fey’s Dhonu bow quick shot and removed the damage fall-off.
  • Lowered the frequency of Ode battle dogs appearing in patrols.
  • Changed Hark, The Collector Sparrow’s Tale to drop collectible objects immediately rather than at 50-second intervals.
  • Adjusted Cloudquell to more accurately restore the original time and weather after completing the Hark, The Collector Sparrow’s Tale.
  • Updated post-death Sparrow controls for controller: right stick now controls movement and right trigger (RT) now controls boost.
  • Ongoing lighting and environmental improvements throughout Alca.

Fixes:

  • Fixed Sparrow’s Tales in the Glades generating Ode’n Moaner objectives in unreachable locations.
  • Fixed Sparrow’s Tales in the Glades canceling after moving too far away.
  • Fixed the Hark, The Collector Sparrow’s Tale spawning more frequently than intended.
  • Fixed Verminia’s rat cage lingering in the overworld after Brewer of Hues is already completed.
  • Fixed Fey's Bestone causing fleeing Ode battle dogs to float in the air (Ruh Roh).
  • Fixed Juniper not interacting with the quiver’s hide/show mechanic depending on Arrow amount.
  • Fixed Juniper using Blitzel’s arrow model.
  • Fixed unbound Context Action inputs appearing when interacting with certain Ancestors or Avakot for the first time.
  • Fixed the Sparrow respawn input on controllers, and the text now reads: “Seek your fallen frame.”
  • Fixed the ‘Add’ Squad Member icon appearing when a squad already has three Envoys.
  • Fixed clients becoming locked and unable to move or open menus if joining a host who recently entered and exited the Dermak Undercity or Glades of Andurin.
  • Fixed Ode Tempest Cannon charge sound not stopping upon release.
  • Fixed an issue where increasing Spirit would incorrectly reduce the damage of Royal Tines.
  • Fixed enemies becoming passive if “soul stealed” while the enemy is in an attack animation.
  • Fixed some squirrel animations that appeared unnatural.
  • Fixed Undercity puzzles stacking after host migration.
  • Minor audio fixes.
  • Minor VFX fixes.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur in Nightfold.
  • Fixed a crash caused by Ode battle dogs.
  • Fixed a crash when interacting with the Inventory while dead.
  • Fixed a crash related to using Cloudquell at certain times of day.
  • Fixed a crash related to Ode traps.
  • Fixed a crash caused by the HUD.
  • Fixed script errors caused by Sparrow’s Tales.
