
Faction Switching
Envoys may now leave their current allegiance and pledge themselves to a new Faction! To change Factions, speak with a new Faction’s representative while carrying their sacred Totem. A one-week cooldown applies after switching Factions.
- Alca’s Children: Sproutfolk Seed Totem. Fragments found in Rare Chests in the Glades of Andurin.
- Kith of Kings: Medallion of Mora Totem. Fragments found in Rare Chests in the Dermak Undercity.
- Silent Rose: Rose’s Bodkin Totem. Fragments found in Rare Chests in Midrath.
To aid in the forging of Totems, Sacred Shimmer has been added to all Faction favors at Rank 3: The Sunlight trapped in morning dewdrops. The bonfire sparks upon fresh snow. Sacred shimmer can be found in all of Alca's nooks. The hard part is learning to harvest it.
The Ode Tempest Pact has been removed from the Kith of Kings and each of the three starting Pacts - Oscelda, Tethren, and Sirin - are now available for purchase at Rank 2 in their respective Faction favors.

Fixes:
- Fixed a bug where switching loadouts mid-Faction Tale in Nightfold could prevent Faction XP from being granted upon completion.
- Fixed Bannerets sometimes not spawning during Faction Tales in the Dermak Undercity.
- Fixed Cloudquell purchased from Avakot’s Gots during Faction Tales not equipping to the Gear Wheel if The Brewer of Hues was not yet completed.
- Fixed entering Nightfold during a combat-based Faction Tale causing enemies to reset or attack the air oddly until the Envoy’s return.
- Fixed some Faction Tales appearing multiple times within the same path.
- Fixed receiving a Faction Tale expiration transmission upon login, even after completing the Tale.
- Fixed a bug where certain Faction Tale steps could auto-complete if the Envoy left the area or entered Nightfold for an extended period of time.
- Fixed music statues sometimes relocating during Faction Tales if the Envoy entered Nightfold before interacting with them.
- Fixed Faction Tale end-of-mission screen UI not properly displaying XP amount for Faction XP, Pact XP, and weapon XP, even though the correct amount was awarded.
- Fixed clients not seeing the Faction Tale end-of-mission screen or celebration animation.
- Fixed Duhk Halic incorrectly showing the Rook model when previewed at Tuvalkane’s table.
- Fixed Deora not appearing in the Silent Rose Enclave if visited before completing The Torment Stag.
- Fixed Orengall Pact’s Packhunter pups unintentionally and annoyingly blocking arrows Envoy is attempting to fire at enemies.
- Fixed Orengall Pact claw attack not being able to break open doors.
- Fixed Ode Bisulcam not visibly exploding for clients upon destruction.
- Fixed armor incorrectly appearing as “Ready to Craft” despite missing required Joinery materials.
- Fixed excessive lightning brightness at a dig site.
- Fixed bow animations that could cause clipping into Envoy’s torso or torso twisting during charged walk transitions.
- Fixed animals floating or sinking below cages during some rescue cinematics.

- Fixed a crash which could occur when discovering the World Tree during the “Rise, Envoy” tutorial.
- Fixed a crash caused by puzzles in the Undercity.
- Fixed the Volunteer Tester Participation Agreement not appearing in the actual game launcher. This agreement remains unchanged but will need to be accepted once more to proceed.
